Brand new (leftover) 240 Sport Craft Center Console The challenge: This owner wanted an enclosure to be as water tight as possible. He also wanted maximum visibility, particularly in the front. And finally, he wanted the option to provide protection to more than two people, should he desire. The solution: For starters, I had the marina remove his windshield. I filled the holes from the windshield with snaps. Weather stripping was around the console where it meets the canvas. Finally, all spaces where water could infiltrate was sealed by either silicon or other means. To address the last issue, I added a second set of snap hook where the owner can flair the side curtains outward to protect additional occupants.
The result is this very clean and functional console enclosure. Note that the rod holders (and cup holders) on the leaning post were not blocked by the enclosure.
